As of today, our deals sites have a daily travel deal page.  This page brings together the daily deals from Living Social and Groupon (with more to come).  We think this adds value by bringing together multiple sites on one page.  Although the Living Social deals can be found in one place on their site, the same cannot be said for Groupon travel deals.  Therefore we’ve brought together travel deals from throughout Groupon’s network of sites, not just DC.

While the myriad local deal sites we serve up on our homepage are great, everyone wants to get out of town at some point.  Most of the travel deals featured are at huge discounts (over 50%) and come from high quality establishments.

We’ve been serving up local deals on Deals in DC for a few months now.  Much of our outreach occurs on Twitter, but we’ve been looking for new ways to reach savvy shoppers.  Today we’re pleased to announce the beginning of our Deals in DC blog.  We hope that this venue will allow us to make deal finding easier for you.  Like the rest of our site, we’re going to keep it simple and to the point.  Please add our RSS feed to your favorite news reader.  We look forward to your feedback.
